Abstract:
PURPOSE:To plan to save man-hour by forming a hull with ribs integrally. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 3 constructed to have three layers of plastic plates, surface layers 2, 2' of which are of flat plates and an intermediate layer 1 of which is of foaming plastic, is pinched by vacuum forming metalic molds 6, 7 after heated and softened, and spaces 8, 9 provided in the molds are sucked by vacuum, and thereby, the intermediate layer 1 is separated due to low strength of the foaming plastic while the surface layer 2, 2' are contacted with the metalic molds 6, 7 closely, and thus, a hull 5 together with predetermined protuberances 4 are formed by vacuum. By this method, protuberances 4 formed with the hull 5 integrally reinforce a boat by serving as ribs and man-hours for fixing the ribs to the hull 5 may be saved. Further, spaces in the protuberances 4 serve as bouyant chambers of the boat and the safety thereof may be improved by preventing sinking upon being immersed by water.
