Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable read/write of normal data, by switching the output of a circuit compensating the shift of position of magnetic head due to temperature according to the magnetic head for read/write. CONSTITUTION:One of terminals S1-S4 of an analog multiplexer 19 is selected by the head number is selected and connected to a terminal D to form the feedback loop of an operational amplifier 20. Since the gain of this operational amplifier 20 is determined by the ratio of one of resistors 13-16 to a resistor 17 when an on- resistance of the analog multiplexer 19 is neglected, the temperature gradient of a temperature compensation circuit output can be obtained suitably to any head, by determining the value of the resistors 13-16 so that required gain can be obtained to compensate the position shift specific to each head.
