Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the aimed substance safely, easily and economically, in the ammoxidation of an organic compound in the presence of a specific catalyst containing tellurium at a specific temperature, by feeding simple tellurium, etc. in the vapor phase continuously or intermittently from the outside of a reactor into the reactor.

CONSTITUTION: An organic compound is subjected to the ammoxidation in the presence of a metallic oxide catalyst containing tellurium, e.g. a fluidized catalyst having 5W200μ particle diameter, at 300W500°C. In the process, simple tellurium or a tellurium compound, e.g. tellurium hydroxide, organic tellurium compound, tellurium oxide or tellurium hydrate, in the vapor phase is continuously or intermittently fed from the outside of a reactor into the reactor to carry out the ammoxidation. Preferably, the amount of the tellurium component based on the total amount of the gas to be fed to the reaction is 10-5W102 (mg/l),and the amount of the tellurium component to be fed at a time is 10(mg/ g-catalytst/hr) at the maximum.

EFFECT: Improved selectively of the aimed product, reduction in change with time, etc.
