Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stabilize an output even if a power source voltage is varied by applying an AC voltage full-wave rectified to a timer circuit, detecting the fall of the full-wave rectified waveform to start charging of a condenser for determining a phase angle. CONSTITUTION:An AC power source voltage 1 is rectified by a full-wave rectifier 4 and is applied to a timer circuit 5. When a power source voltage is lowered, Vcc is lowered. Accordingly, a charge starting level is lowered, and a threshold level is also lowered. Thus, a phase angle theta is led (t4 t6), even if the power source voltage is varied, the angle theta is controlled to compensate the variation, and a bidirectional control element Q1 is phase controlled through a triac drive circuit 6 by the output of the timer 5.
