PURPOSE: To turn safely without accelerating unreasonably even at a turning ground with a small load by providing a means to prohibit only an acceleration when a steering angle with a predetermined value or more is detected by a steering angle detector.
CONSTITUTION: A steering angle detection signal V5 from a potentiometer 15 provided on a steering wheel and a preset output signal V6 from a preset unit 16 when the steering wheel is at a neutral position are input to a differential amplifier 17. The potential difference V5-V6 between the two is output by the amplifier 17, and the output is fed to the second function generator 18, which outputs a fixed current io when the absolute value of the input potential is at a predetermined value or more. The output io is fed to the switch 13' of a drive amplifier section 13 so as to open the switch 13'. Accordingly, a current is made to flow through a bypass by a diode in the amplifier section 13, and this current drives a DC motor 8 in the deceleration direction only of the car speed.
