PURPOSE: To perform top/reverse display on a disk, and to improve reliability, by providing a side display lever which rotates or holds itself in a steady state according to the face of the tapered part of an inner case, and performing switching according to whether it rotates or not.
CONSTITUTION: While any record protecting container is not inserted, the lever 27 of a switch 20 is elevated by the side display lever 18 lifted by a spring 26 and the contact of the switch 20 is placed in a state A. In this state, when the record protecting container is inserted into the inner case 8 to the inner part with its tapered part 8a up, the contact of the switch 2 is still in the state A and a pilot lamp corresponding to the state A turns on. When the record protecting container is inserted with the tapered part 8a down, the side display lever 18 rotates by pivoting a shaft 16, and consequently the lever 27 of the switch 20 is opened to turn on a pilot lamp corresponding to a state B.
