Title:
SUBMERGEABLE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58154361
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the cooling effect and bearing lubricating performance of a submergeable motor by circulating lubricant in the motor through between the strands of the coil ends of a stator coil. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor shaft 16 rotates, lubricant of a hollow part 17 of the shaft 16 is exhausted by centrifugal force form a communication hole 18, and the lubricant in the exterior of the hollow part 17 is sucked from the hole 17' into the hollow part 17. Accordingly, the lubricant in the motor is circulated through the gap of the wire group forming the coil end 5, a communication passage 3 at the outer periphery of a stator core 2, a communication hole 11 of a reverse load side bracket 7, the hollow part 17 and the hole 18. In this manner, the temperatures of the coil and circulated lubricant can be lowered, and the sizes of the coil and stator core can be reduced.
