Next, when setting speed of the speed setter 10 is gradually increased, a controller 9 raises the output frequency of the accelerating invertor 8 due to a deflection with the signal of a speed detector 5-1 as well as when the roll speed goes up to the specified speed, a contactor 13 is switched and turned to the side of the common invertor 6 so that operation takes place at a high speed. Since this motion is conducted at every spindle in regular sequence, a power source unit can be formed into compactification.
