PURPOSE: To prevent flame failure even if the feeding rate of kerosene is very small in a combustion apparatus, by opening the open end of an oil feed tube, which is formed in the shape of triangle or a similar, to an oil diffuser from the upper side thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The kerosene being fed from an oil feed tube 14 is diffused to the inner side of a cup 2 by a rotating oil diffuser 1, and is gasified by the heat of a cup 2. On the other hand, the air produced by a fan 7 which is turned by a variable motor 6 is sucked into the cup 2 from the outlet of a blast pipe 5, and the gas, mixed with the air in a gasifying chamber 2, gets into a gas chamber 1, injected onto a combustion plate 10 from an injection port 13, and is burned in the inner side of an outer wall 9. When the feeding rate of kerosene is decreased in order to lower the heating power, the small rate of oil can continuously drop down to the oil diffuser 1 from the lower corner of the triangular outlet 15 of an oil feed tube 14, so that oil can be fed continuously to the oil diffuser 1. With such an arrangement, continuous combustion can be taken place and flame failure can be prevented even if the feeding rate of kerosene is throttled down to a very small quantity.
