Title:
PEELING MECHANISM FOR SHEETFORM MATTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5817038
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the damage of a roller surface, by constituting a mechanism such that a peeling claw, making press contact with a roller surface firmly adhered to a sheetform matter, such as surface image forming device, can slide in an axial direction and is energized in a given energizing direction to the roller surface by a spring means.

CONSTITUTION: A peeling claw 8 can rectilinearly move through a guide 10 and is pressed against a roller (1B) surface through the force of a spring 9. Then, an angle D of an energizing direction FA of the spring 9 with a tangent line at a contact Q is set to 45° or less. Thus, the component forces of the press FA are produced such that FA is larger than FB. If the component force FB is produced enough high to peel a sheet, the component force FC in a direction of a normal line may be low, and a friction between the roller 1B and a forward end 8D of the peeling claw 8 can be reduced. If a jam occurs and a force in an opposite direction to that of FB is exerted on the peeling claw 8, the force becomes lower than FB, and a steady force is maintained. This prevents the damage of the roller surface.
