Abstract:
PURPOSE:To allow a support device to move due to thermal expansion but to keep it in fixed condition during an earthquake, by arranging a joint body of a heat insulating material supporting inside beam and an outside fixing member at the center of a pressure container. CONSTITUTION:An inside support beam 6 is suspended from an upper concrete 3 and supported by a movable support 8 provided surrounding a group of stand pipes 2. The movable support 8 is a bar-like member with its lower end pivoted to the inside support beam 6 through an upper heat insulating material 4 and with its upper end rotatably pivoted to the wall of the upper concrete 3. A fixed support 10 is rigidly coupled with the upper concrete 3 and an outside support beam 9. The inside and outside support beams 6, 9 are connected each other by means of a tube-like joint body 11 fitted around a stand pipe 2 erected from the central top of the pressure container 1.
