Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the feeding accuracy by a structure wherein a means to change the parallelism between a feed screw and a guide way is provided in order to effectively change the cumulative lead of the feed screw by positively changing the parallelism therebetween. CONSTITUTION:The cumulative lead of the feed screw 12 is effectively changed by changing the parallelism between the guide way of a movable body and the axis of the feed screw 12 in order to enable to easily adjust the amount of movement of the movable body to the set value even under the condition that the feed screw 12 has a large cumulative lead error. Furthermore, the constitution combined the movable body with a nut 29 consisting of the combination of a shaft, a bore and a rolling element results in not imparing the linear accuracy of the movable body even under the conditions that the feed screw 12 is not parallel to the guide way as mentioned above and yet has radial run-out. Consequently, the small size screw feed controlling device with high guiding and positioning accuracies can be provided even by employing a cheap feed screw with not so high accuracy.
