Title:
ROTARY HEAD DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5829184
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the size minimize even with incorporated camera with a head through axially thinned size, by providing a roller bearing between opposing surface of a fixed drum and a rotating member and forming an optical system path at the center from the bearing. CONSTITUTION:A drum 23 is supported with a bearing and rotated with a torque of a rotary magnet 40 through the application of power to a stator coil 39. A tape runs on the outer circumference of the drums 23 and 24 and a magnetic head 43 is driven. An optical image is converted at a solid-state image pickup element 53 and recorded with the head 43. A roller bearing 35 has a large diameter and the shift between opposing positions of the two bearings 35 gives only a small effect on a rotating locus of the magnetic head 43. Then, the interval between the bearings 35 can be made small for thin size. Since the diameter of the bearing 35 is large and no rotating shaft is used, a vacant hole 49 can be made at the center of the drum 23, it can be used for an optical path, allowing to make the size small even with incorporated camera.
