Abstract:
A cylinder lock, particularly an anti-theft lock for motor vehicles, comprises a bolt (4) actuated by a locking cylinder (S); the bolt (4) is blocked, in its locking position, by a spring-biased blocking member (10). The blocking member (10) is held, in its unlocked position, by a wire (9) against the spring (11). Said wire (9) releases the blocking member (10) so that it occupies its locking position when an unauthorized person tries to remove the locking cylinder. The wire (9) is parallel to the bolt (4) and is movable in the axial direction. Its outer end (9a) is situated in the path of the blocking member (10) and its inner end (9b) is connected, at least in the withdrawn position of the key, with the locking cylinder so that a motion of the locking cylinder outside the lock casing results in a displacement of the wire (9) thereby releasing the blocking member (10).
