PURPOSE: To obtain a stereoscopical image, by arranging many lens materials or reflective mirrors having curved surfaces on the outside circumference of a rotary material to obtain the second image from the first image near the outside circumference and obtaining the third image through a concave mirror which has the center of the curvature on the axis of the rotary material.
CONSTITUTION: A film 1 where an object is photographed by a small-sized motion picture camera is run continuously in the horizontal direction, and plural frames are projected onto the circle having a radius R1 with a point C as the center by a projection lens 2 to obtain the first image I1'. A rotary material (actually, a lens or a reflective mirror having the curved surface) where many slit are provided at equal intervals on the outside is rotated in a speed different from that of the first image I1' to form the second image I2'. The third image I3' is formed from the second image I2' through a concave mirror M3 having a radius R3 of curvature, and the third image I3' is seen through a field stop AA', which is placed on the center point C, by right and left eyes E and E', and thus, this image I3' is seen as a stereoscopical image.
