Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the undercooling of sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate and consequently realize the heat accumulation and release at predetermined temperature by a method wherein sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate is mainly used and thiosulfate is added as anti-undercooling material.

CONSTITUTION: Na2S2O3.5H2O is mainly used and thiosulfate, which has S2O3 ion common to Na2S2O3.5H2O, is added as anti-undercooling materials. Said thiosulfates to be added are one or more kinds of thiosulfates such as Ba (1), K (3/5), NH4 (0), Cd (2), Li (3), Sr, Mn, Fe (5), Ca, Mg, Co, Ni (0) (where the numbers in the parentheses denote the number of hydrates) and the like.
