Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the width of the moving passage of a moving body, by providing two regions of different widths on a detection band plate provided at the end of the moving passage of a cargo convey-in/out unit in an automatic warehouse or the like and by effecting control through detectors provided on the unit. CONSTITUTION:When a cargo convey-in/out unit 1 moves in the direction of the arrow 21, a high-speed cut detector 16 and a medium-speed one-cut detector 17 detect a detected plate 40 independently of its regions A, B. A medium-speed two- cut detector 18 and an emergency stopping detector 19 pass under only the narrow region A and do not detect the plate 40 for the duration of movement by a prescribed distance after the plate 40 is detected by the detector 17. After the movement by the prescribed distance, the detectors 18, 19 sequentially detect the wide region B of the detected plate 40. As a result, the detectors 16-19 supply detection signals at the same timing as conventional cases and forced deceleration and stoppage control can be effected in the same manner as the conventional cases.
