Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress the pulsation of a motor current by setting the PWM operating mode to a flywheel mode when the absolute value of the operation amount calculated by the calculation of the current control falls within the minimum operation amount. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 10 calculates the operation amount Mn of a transistor pulse width modulator 4 on the basis of the current If of a DC motor 5 detected by a current detector 7. Then, the polarity of the amount Mn is detected to select the positive or negative side mode. Whether the amount Mn is higher or lower than the minimum operation amount Mm is discriminated. When higher, the drive mode is selected, when lower, the flywheel mode is selected. Thus, the motor can be controlled so that the pulsation of the motor is reduced and a noise can be reduced.
