Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and economical constitution as well as to prevent the misretrieve caused by the stains or soil on the film by generating the detection signal from the photoelectric conversion element when each light guide receives the light from the mark. CONSTITUTION:Two units of light guide 10 and 11 composed of the optical fiber bundles, and the end parts of one side of the guides are located at the position on film 1 where mark 3 passes through and also arranged at the film shifting direction (indicated by arrow) with a fixed space between. While the other end parts are positioned on the light receiving surface of photoelectric conversion element 12 (such as the photo transistor or the like). When film 1 is fed in, the beams from lamp 9 are cut off by mark 3 (if opaque) and transmitted if the mark is transparent. Then the optical signals given from mark 3 are detected by element 12 through guide 10 and 11 to be converted into the electric signals, thus producing the necessary output.
