Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accumulate hot and cold fluid at low cost by automatic and efficient operation of the accumulator with the aid of a controller actuated by temperature sensors for hot and cold water tanks and air heat-exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Temperature sensors 15, 16 and 17 are installed in a hot and a cold water tanks 6 and 7 and at the air inlet of an air heat-exchanger 2, and a controller 18 which calculates COP based on the detection signals and selects optimum operating conditions is installed. The controller 18 converts the detection signals of the temperature sensor 15, 16 and 17 to a voltage corresponding to the COP value and enables switching of three-way valves 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 and operation and halt of a fan 5 and circulating pumps P1 and P2 in such a manner as the maximum COP value may be obtained and consequentially efficient and low cost operation of a heat pump 1.
