Abstract:
An electrophotographic element comprising an electrically conductive support and a mono-layer or multi-layer type photosensitive layer, superposed thereon, containing as an active ingredient a disazo pigment having the following general formula: +TR where Ar is a substituted or non-substituted phenyl, substituted or non-substituted naphthyl, anthryl, pyrenyl, pyridyl, thienyl, furyl or carbazolyl group.
