Abstract:
PURPOSE:To carry out stable neutralization by a simple apparatus by a method wherein, in neutralizing an acidic liquid with an alkaline liquid, pipe lines for one agent are separated into a main pipe and auxiliary pipes and the valves of the main pipe is held at a fixed opening for an optional pH valve, thereafter the auxiliary pipes are regulated. CONSTITUTION:In neutralizing an acidic liquid with an alkaline liquid instantaneously by a mixer such as an ejector, one pipe 8 is separated into a main pipe 17 and an auxiliary pipe 18 and a valve 19 and 20 are provided thereto respectively. Then, the valve 20 is completely closed and, when the pH of an effluent side of a mixer 9 reaches to an optional set valve of a neutralization titration curve while an opening degree of the valve 19 is gradually opened, and the opening degree is held. Thereafter, the valve 20 of the auxiliary pipe 18 is regulated to carry out the neutralization treatment. Because a gradient of a neutralization titration curve is steep in the neutralization of a liquid containing a small amount of pH buffering substances, the stable neutralization treatment can be carried out by above described method.
