Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a vent up phenomenon, by detecting a vent up with a sensor at its initial stage and feedback controlling according to the signal the mechanism which adjusts the number of the keyed sleeves and their groove depth and the driving system of a screw rotation. CONSTITUTION:The generation of the vent up phenomenon in which a molten resin overflows from the vent 5 for exhausting a water or volatile substances such as a monomer, etc. at a vented injection molder or a vented extruder is detected beforehand by a resin pressure sensor 7 provided at a feed zone (d) and a pressure transducer 8 and the hydraulic motor 10 for a screw rotation is controlled by a sequence controller 13 via an electromagnetic valve 9, also the keyed sleeves 12 (12a, 12b) are controlled and the generation of the vent up phenomenon is prevented.
