Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily carry out the regeneration of a sintered metal filter used in the filtration of a fluid, by a method wherein the sintered metal filter is treated with a solvent under heating and the treated filter is immersed in warm water to be washed by the self-injection action of said filter. CONSTITUTION:As a sintered metal filter, one obtained by sintering a laminate comprising plural metal nets made of stainless steel and having predetermined mesh sizes is used. By using this filter, a fluid such as a high molecular compound is filtered. The filter after use is heated to about 100 deg.C or more, pref., 180 deg.C or more by using a solvent capable of issolving the fluid to be subjected to filtration and the heated filter is immersed in warm water with a temp. of about 80-100 deg.C, pref., about 90 deg.C or more. By this treatment, self-injection action is generated in the metal filter which can be in turn regenerated easily in enhanced washing effect.
