Abstract:
The present invention provides a particulate separation device that can achieve a separation processing volume of at least in the order of 0.1 mL per minute with high precision using a simple operation, that can recover particles larger than a prescribed size, that can be applied to particles in the order of sub-micron to tens of microns without easily being affected by clogging, and that can be manufactured easily at a low cost. A crossflow filtration device is developed wherein: the device is configured by bonding a flat substrate A and substrate B; the substrate A comprises an area C in which small holes passing through the interior thereof are formed; the area C is at least in partial contact with the bond surface S of the substrate A and the substrate B; an introduction channel E and a recovery channel F are formed that are disposed so as to be in at least partial contact with the area C in the bond surface S and not in direct contact with each other on the same plane; the introduction channel E has an inlet I by which liquid can be introduced and an outlet J by which liquid can be discharged; the recovery channel F has an outlet K by which liquid can be discharged; and filtration is performed in the area C that is in contact with the substrate B.
