Abstract:
One aspect of the present invention relates to an adsorption filter which is provided with a molded body containing activated carbon, and which is characterized in that: the specific surface area of a carbide that is obtained by subjecting the molded body to a heat treatment at 500°C for one hour in an inert gas is from 1,500 to 2,100 m2/g; and the carbide has pores that have a mesopore volume of 0.1 cm3/g or more as determined by a BJH method and a micropore volume of 0.6 cm3/g or more as determined by an MP method.
