Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a functional propeller fan that radiates alternating magnetic force lines to disturb a magnetic field in an area where pests live and interfere with the activity of the pests, thus killing or extinguishing bacteria and viruses. [Solution] Four wing blades 4 extending in a radial direction face each other on the outer peripheral section of a hub 1 and are fixed at equal intervals in a circumferential direction. The hub 1 is made of a non-magnetic material such as disk-shaped plastic or aluminum and is connected to a rotating shaft 2a of an electric motor 2. A plurality of permanent magnets 3 are fixed on uniform angles of radiation of the hub 1, and rotating the hub 1 causes air to be blown while creating an alternating magnetic field having an N pole and an S pole.
