Abstract:
This crane having a traveling vehicle body that supports a boom in a swivel manner comprises: a first detection unit which is installed on the traveling vehicle body and detects first information on an object in front; a second detection unit which is installed at the tip of the boom and detects second information on the object in front; and a control unit which controls the travel of the traveling vehicle body, wherein the control unit controls the traveling on the basis of the second information in the retracted state of the boom, and controls the traveling on the basis of the first information in the non-retracted state of the boom.
