Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a thermoplastic resin having a high Abbe number and high thermal resistance. The thermoplastic resin of the present invention includes a repeating unit represented by formula (1), and the number average molecular weight is 5,000 to 30,000. (In formula (1), R1 to R4 each independently denote a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or a hydrocarbon group having 1-12 carbons, k is 0 or 1, L denotes a divalent linking group, X is a divalent linking group having an alicyclic skeleton and not having an unsaturated bond, and W is a single bond or at least one selected from the group represented by formulas (2), (3) and (4).)
