Abstract:
A robot control device (10) comprises: a movement time prediction unit (11) for predicting a robot movement time, which is the time required for the robot to bring a hand of the robot to a target position, and a hand movement time, which is the time from the point in time that the hand has been instructed to move until the movement whereby the hand grasps an object at the target position is completed; and a hand movement start instruction unit (13) for instructing movement of the hand to start at a timing determined on the basis of the predicted robot movement time and the predicted hand movement time. The movement time prediction unit (11) predicts the robot movement time by means of a calculation that incorporates robot control system information indicating characteristics of the robot control system.
