Title:
TRANSMITTER−RECEIVER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2003/103253
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A noise suppressor (8) suppresses noise included in the transmitted sound converted into digital signal by an A&sol D converter (2). A sidetone level controller (9) controls the level of the transmitted signal after the noise is suppressed by the noise suppressor (8), and outputs the transmitted signal as the sidetone. A D&sol A converter (15) converts the received signal after the sidetone is added thereto from the digital signal to the analog signal. Thus, the sidetone level is prevented from being changed by the level of the noise present behind a talker, and the sidetone can be controlled so that the talker can make talking with an appropriate sound volume.
