Abstract:
A backlight device (12) is provided with: LEDs (16); light guide plates (18), which are arranged to face the LEDs (16), respectively have light incoming surfaces (34) from which light emitted from the LEDs (16) enters and light outgoing surfaces (36) arranged in parallel to the Y axis direction so as to output light therefrom, and are arranged in parallel in the Y axis direction by being partially superimposed in the Z axis direction; LED boards (17) having the LEDs (16) and the light guide plates (18) attached thereto, respectively; clips (23) which can fix the light guide plates (18) such that the light guide plates are attached to the LED boards (17); first light guide plates (18A) which configure the light guide plates (18) superimposed each other and are relatively arranged on the rear side; second light guide plates (18B) which configure the light guide plates (18) superimposed each other and are relatively arranged on the front side; and concave-convex fitting structures which are arranged on the clips (23) fixing the first light guide plates (18A) and the second light guide plates (18B), and can regulate relative displacement of the second light guide plates (18B) in the X axis direction and the Y axis direction.
