Abstract:
A water purifying cartridge (6) is provided with a case (7) having an open top surface and filled with a purifying agent (15) for purifying water, and also with a lid (8) joined to the case (7) so as to cover the opening of the case (7). The lid (8) has an air vent (30) for releasing air in the casing (7). Either the case (7) or the lid (8) has a water introducing opening (8a) for introducing water into the case (7). The air vent (30) is located at a higher position than the water introducing opening (8a).
