Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful compound which is prevented in deterioration and toxicity of the effectiveness due to the racemate in treatment and recurrence prevention of depression, anxiety disorder, eating disorder and incontinence of urine and pharmaceutical composition containing the composition.SOLUTION: (+)-1-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane practically free of the corresponding (-)-enantiomer and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts and a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound are provided. The pharmaceutical composition preferably contains another therapeutic agent selected from antidepressant agents, antianxiety agents, antipsychotics and antiobestic drugs. A production method of the (+)-enantiomer is based on chiral chromatography or a chromatography resolution technique, like a pseudo-movable bed technique, or chemical separation using an optical activity resolution reagent.
