Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain 1,2-polybutadiene excellent in moldability and useful for elastomers, etc., in a high yield by polymerizing butadiene in the presence of a specific catalyst in a solvent such as a hydrocarbon under specific conditions.
CONSTITUTION: Butadiene is polymerized in, the presence of a catalyst to obtain the objective 1,2-polybutadiene comprising ≥70wt.% of repeating units,-[CH(CH: CH2)CH2]-and ≤30wt.% of repeating units,-(CHCH:CHCH2)-, having a weight- average mol.wt. of 50000-160000 converted into PS, a crystallinity of 5-50%, and a melt flow rate of 10-600g/10min measured on JIS K7210 test conditions 2.
