PURPOSE: To obtain a new 1,2,3-triazole derivative useful as a harmful organism controlling agent having remarkable nematocide, insecticide, acaricide and germicide effects.
CONSTITUTION: 1,2,3-triazole derivative of formula I (R1 is H, halogen or 1-4C alkyl; R2 is 1-4C alkyl, 3-5C alkenyl, 3-5C alkynyl, benzyl (its may be replaced by alkyl), pyridyl (H may be replaced by halogen or haloalkyl) or CH2CH2OR5 (R5 is alkyl); R3 is 1-4C alkyl or 3-5C alkenyl; R4 is H or 1-4C alkyl], e.g. 1-(N, N-dimethylthiocarbamoyl)-5-methylmercapto-1,2,3=-triazole. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II with a compound of formula III (X is eliminable group). The compound of formula I wherein R4 is H is obtained by reacting the compound of formula II with a compound of formula IV.
