Abstract:

To provide a β-1,3-glucan derivative which is a polymer having β-1,3-glucan as a main chain, has thermoplasticity and is excellent in moldability, and to provide its manufacturing method.

There are provided a manufacturing method of a β-1,3-glucan derivative including: binding at least a part of hydroxyl groups in a polymer having glucan constituted by a β-1,3-glucoside bond as a main chain, and cardanol or a derivative thereof through an ester bond, an ether bond, or an urethane bond, the β-1,3-glucan derivative manufactured by the manufacturing method and a molded body obtained by molding the β-1,3-glucan derivative.
