PURPOSE: To provide novel derivatives useful as a cardiovascular remedy.
CONSTITUTION: By reacting a compound of formula II with a compound of formula III (wherein R18 represents alkylthio or aryloxy) in a polar solvent, preferably at a temperature of boiling point of the reaction mixture, recemic or optical active derivatives of the general formula I wherein in the case that a valence bond represented by the dotted line, R1 represents hydrogen or 1-4C alkyl carrying a pyridyl or the like; R2 represents cyanoimino; R3 represents halogen, R5O (wherein R5 represents hydrogen, pyridylcarbonyl or the like) or the like; R4 represents 1-4C alkyl; and in the case the valence bond represented by the dotted line is present, R1 does not exist; R2 represents R9R10N (wherein R9 and R10 are each hydrogen, pyridyl having halogen or the like) or the like; R3 represents hydrogen, pyridylcarbonyl or the like; R4 represents 1-4C alkyl, tautomers, possible mixtures or acid addition salts thereof, for example, 2-[amino-(1-pyperidinyl)-methyleneamino]-4-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1,3,4- benzotriazepine-5(4H)-one is obtained.
