Abstract:

To provide a new rustmicin derivative having antimycotic activity and synthesized from a precursor by a method having improved efficiency in view of stereoselectivity and chemical yield.

The macrolide is expressed by formula (1-1) [R1 is H, a lower alkylthio, a lower fluoro-substituted alkoxy or a halogen atom; R2 is H, OH or a lower alkoxy; R3 and R4 are each independently H, a lower alkyl or fluorine atom excluding the case that R1 and R2 are H at the same time and R3 and R4 are H, F or lower alkyl at the same time).
