NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I [R1 is lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; R2 is di- lower alkylamino; Alk is lower alkylene; R3 is H, halogen, OH or (halogen-substituted) lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; n is 1 or 2; X is H or halogen; Z is O or S; with the proviso that A is S and R1 is lower alkyl or 2-position substituted lower alkoxy when R3 is H] is or an acid addition salt thereof.
EXAMPLE: (±)-cis-2-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-3-(4-nitrobenzoyl)oxy-5-[2-(-di-methylamino) ethyl]-7-methoxy-2,3-dihydro-1,5-benzothiazepin-4(5H)-one.
USE: A hypotensor, cerebrovascular vasodilator, coronary vasodilator, a drug for alleviating calmodulin and an inhibitor of blood platelet aggregation.
PREPARATION: A compound (salt) shown by formula II is condensed with a compound (reactive derivative) shown by formula III.
