EXAMPLE: 2-(3-Buten-1-yl)cyclohexane-1,3-dione.
USE: Intermediate of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, perfumery, stabilizer of synthetic resim, etc.
PROCESS: The objective compound is prepared by reacting cyclohexane-1,3-dione derivatives or cyclopentane-1,3-dione derivatives with a conjugated diene compound of formula V in a solvent such as benzene, in the presence of a catalyst comprising a rhodium compound (pref. mono-valent Rh compound) and a tertiary phosphine compound (pref. aryl-substituted tertiary phosphine compound) at 30W180°C under a pressure sufficiently high to keep the reaction system liquid
