Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound bearing various substituents and useful as e.g. an intermediate for medicines and agrochemicals by reaction of a silylborane compound with an alkyne compound in the presence of a catalyst.
SOLUTION: This compound is a new 2-silylalkenylborane compound shown by formula I (R1 to R3 are each an aliphatic or aromatic group; R4 and R5 are each a halogen, alkoxy, aryloxy or amino; when R4 and R5 are each an alkoxy, aryloxy or amino, they may be bound to each other to form a ring; R6 and R7 are each H, an aliphatic or aromatic group, or silyl), bearing various substitutents, thus being useful as, e.g. an intermediate for medicines and agrochemicals. The compound is obtained by reaction of a silylborane compound of the formula, R1R2R3Si-BR4R5 with an alkyne compound of formula II in the presence of a catalyst consisting of a group X metal, metal complex tereof or metal salt thereof followed by isolating the product.
