2-Tert.-butyl-5-isoxazolylmethylthio-3(2H)-pyridazin-3-one derivatives of the general formula in which the substituents have the following meanings: R<1> represents hydrogen or C1-C4-alkyl, R<2> represents hydrogen, C1-C8-alkyl, C2-C8-alkenyl, C1-C4-haloalkyl, C2-C8-alkoxyalkyl, C3-C10-cycloalkyl, C2-C5-alkoxycarbonyl, aryl, C7-C20-aralkyl, aryl which is monosubstituted to trisubstituted by halogen, C1-C8-alkyl, C1-C8-alkoxy, C1-C4-haloalkyl, C1-C4-haloalkoxy, phenyl, phenoxy, cyano and/or mono- to disubstituted by nitro, or represents C7-C20-aralkyl which is substituted in the aryl moiety, R<3> represents hydrogen, halogen, C1-C8-alkyl or C2-C8-alkenyl and X represents chlorine or bromine, their preparation, and their use for controlling pests.
