Abstract:
To provide new compounds which show broad and excellent antimicrobial activities against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria, including various resistant bacteria.
The compounds are represented by formula (I), wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or methyl, R2 and R3, which may be the same or different, each represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, amino, substituted amino, lower alkyl, substituted lower alkyl, carbamoyl, substituted aminocarbonyl, lower alkoxycarbonyl, substituted lower alkoxycarbonyl, heterocyclic carbonyl, or substituted heterocyclic carbonyl, and R4 represents a hydrogen atom or a biohydrolyzable group.
