Title:
3-PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58116052
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reinforce the magnetomotive force of a motor by providing an auxiliary winding at the prescribed electric angle delay from the primary winding at the primary side core and connecting it through a condenser to the same power source for the primary winding, thereby adjusting the phase angle of the main magnetic flux. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage V is applied to a power source terminal, the primary current I1 flows through a primary winding A, and the secondary electromotive force 2 is induced at the secondary coil A2. Simultaneously, an auxiliary electromotive force Ea is induced at the auxiliary winding B, but since the winding B is disposed at electric angle 120 deg. delay on the primary core, the auxiliary electromotive force Ea is delayed at 120 deg. in phase from the applied voltage V, and the auxiliary exciting current Ia' which leads at 90 deg. in phase from the condenser voltage flows through the auxiliary winding via a condenser V. The phase of the current Ia' is adjusted in the phase angle of the main magnetic flux by regulating the disposition and the number of turns of the winding B as described above, thereby increasing the magnetomotive force and improving the power factor.
