Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate an image displayed on a stereoscopic display using a portable device.SOLUTION: A display system and display method of a stereoscopic image includes a portable device, a stereoscopic display unit for displaying a stereoscopic image including a virtual object according to a viewpoint position, and an information processing device which is connected to the portable device via a wireless network. The portable device receives an operation by a user, on a touch panel included in a display unit of the portable device and transmits the received operation via the wireless network to the information processing device. The information processing device interprets the operation received from the portable device in accordance with a mode corresponding to the relative solid angle between a display surface of the display unit of the portable device and a display surface of the stereoscopic display unit, and updates the state of the virtual object displayed on the stereoscopic display unit in accordance with the result of interpretation.
