Abstract:
To provide the subject compound as starting material in synthesizing a serine protease inhibitor, and to provide the corresponding new structural fragment in the above inhibitor.
This compound itself shown by the formula or the corresponding compound having an amidino group with the nitrogen atom(s) therein mono- or diprotected or a salt thereof is to be used as starting material in synthesizing a serine protease inhibitor as a peptide, in particular a thrombin inhibitor or kininogenase inhibitor as a peptide. The other objective corresponding structural fragment of the other formula as the structural element of a pharmaceutically active compound, in particular a peptide compound as one of the above- mentioned inhibitors is provided.
