EXAMPLE: 1-Benzyl-4-(2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorophenoxy)piperidine hydrochloride.
USE: An analgesic, an antispasmodic, and an antihypertensive and an antidepressant.
PREPARATION: A compound of formula III is reacted with pentafluorophenol to obtain a compound of formula I (wherein R1 is H; and R is benzyl).
