Abstract:
To provide a method for feeding back channel state information (CSI) in a wireless communication system.SOLUTION: In a method of deriving a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) from matrix multiplication of two matrices from a first codebook W1 and a second codebook W2, W1 includes at least a first precoding matrix PMI1 constructed with a first group of adjacent Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) vectors or W1 includes at least a second precoding matrix PMI2 constructed with a second group of uniformly distributed non-adjacent DFT vectors. Alternatively, W1 includes at least PMI1 and PMI2, PMI1 is constructed with the first group of adjacent DFT vectors, and PMI2 is constructed with the second group of uniformly distributed non-adjacent DFT vectors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
