Abstract:
To provide a novel 6,6-difluoro-5-hexene-1-thiol derivative and an agricultural and horticultural pest controlling agent comprising the same as an active ingredient.
The 6,6-difluoro-5-hexene-1-thiol derivative of formula (I) (wherein Q is a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a lower alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group or substituents shown in figure B (I-a, I-b, I-c, I-d, I-e, I-f, I-g, I-h and I-i, provided that R1, R2 and R5 are each a lower alkyl group, R3 is a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, and R4 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group or a lower haloalkyl group); and X is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom) is excellent in effect for controlling agricultural and horticultural pests.
